It was a strange feeling having a for-sale sign in my front yard,but all of that changed yesterday when we officially closed the deal with a newly wed couple of surgeons looking for a house to raise a family in. It only took 5 days to sell, and the couple gave us an offer the first day on the market! It feels good to at least have the burden of selling lifted even though we lost tons of money. We basically gave the house away!! As I speak I am about to leave the house for the airport on a house hunting trip in Chicago. I hope we find some nice houses!! By everyone!

That's good that you were able to sell the house, the housing market is way down, but it still stinks you lost a lot of money

It would be a miracle greater than surviving a fall off the Empire State building and being run over by three taxis and a semi to make a profit on any house in this market lol. The good thing is that you won't have to pay two payments on two houses while you're living in Chicago
